Rob Crossan
Lifestyle luminary
After surreal beginnings as a stand up comedian in South Africa, Rob came home to London in 2004 to work on a variety of men's magazine titles, including Loaded and Esquire, during which time he visited the most remote pub in the world, infiltrated a born-again virgins cult and ate dog. Sensibly deciding to make the leap into travel writing in 2007, Rob now writes regularly for Cond? Nast Traveller, CNN Traveller, Financial Times Weekend Magazine, The Guardian, Daily Express and Time Out, as well as contributing regularly to the BBC Radio Four travel programme Excess Baggage and co-hosting the BBC podcast Ouch.
