Michael Delany
Goodtime guy
Michael is an interior designer, club owner, instigator and bon vivant lucky enough to carve out a career as such. He’s designed landmark Melbourne clubs such as Sadies, laneway stalwart Misty and the legendary Honkytonks, which coupled a heaving dancefloor with the perfect martini. At Third Class he created the infamous rave juice – a drink served with a glowstick in a plastic bag. Michael was also creative director at the Prince in St Kilda, launched pub/diner/disco The Bottom End (including Survivor! and Poof Doof nightclubs) and opened freakishly titled club Sorry Grandma! Recently, he’s designed a slew of award-winning Sydney pubs, restaurants and cafés, kickstarting the city’s pub revolution.
